From the high rises of Manhattan to the wide-open ranches of Texas, we love lighting up the world for our customers. Two recent projects illustrate just how diverse our Touché solution can be.
Beauty giant Avon recently installed a Touché solution at their brand-new corporate headquarters location in Lower Manhattan. The leading social-selling beauty company in North America chose to relocate 400 employees to two floors of a 54-story tower at 165 Broadway. Scott White, CEO of New Avon LLC, said, “It was important for us to find an emerging and high energy location to inspire our innovative, entrepreneurial culture. This location will embody the Avon of the future.”
The new location will feature an open concept to support employee collaboration and innovation — making the innovative Touché Control solution a perfect fit.
Halfway across the country, we also recently installed our system as part of a $3 million upgrade to the Brazos County Exposition Center in Bryan, Texas. The Expo Center is home to the annual Brazos Valley Fair & Rodeo and features two event arenas over 70,000 square feet, two 60,000-square-foot pavilions for equestrian and livestock shows, a 50,000-square-foot exhibit hall, and a 26,000-square-foot ballroom facility.
In a true display of Texas hospitality and caring, the Expo Center has most recently been utilized as a large-animal shelter and responder staging area for helping with hurricane Harvey relief efforts in the Houston area. We’re proud to have made a contribution to such a community asset, and we’re grateful for the tremendous work they’re doing to help those most needing assistance.
